A number, a drawing or a sample is a good start.

Missing a dimension? Leave it for the engineer. Do not dismantle equipment just to complete the request.

01

Identify the assembly

Vehicle or equipment model, year, OE number, VIN or drawing reference. Describe the fault and any earlier repairs.

02

Record the geometry

Overall and working length, both end connections, flange diameter and bolt pattern, tube diameter and support positions. Mark the measurement reference points on a sketch; different connection types use different references.

03

Describe the duty

Maximum shaft speed, torque or power, working angles, operating conditions and quantity. Prepare clear photos of the assembly, both ends, joints and markings for the engineering review.

Driveshaft balancing: up to 6 m and 500 kg. Industrial rotors and turbines: up to 500 kg. Suitability depends on geometry and mounting.
